It is a system of underground passageways, shafts and old sewerage lines. The total length of the Jihlava Underground Labyrinth is 25 km. It is the second largest underground system in the Czech Republic.It doesn’t have only one floor but sometimes two or even three floors.
It is a late Gothic castle, which rises on a rocky hill in the 677 meters in the romantic woods near the village of Den, was built by the Lords of Hradec in the first half of the 14th century. In the 70s the 16th century had the castle rebuilt Zacharias of Hradec in the spirit of the Renaissance at the hunting lodge with large game park nearby. In 1915 the castle burnt down. Major repairs started up in 1958. The castle was opened to the public in 1969. Today there are a collection of the Museum of the Highlands Fund Jihlava.
